Kevin Young named vice president of Corporate Development

Web Industries, Inc., a leading provider of contract converting and manufacturing services, has appointed Kevin Young as the company’s vice president of Corporate Development, effective August 8, 2016. Young will be based out of the company’s corporate offices in Marlborough, MA, and he will report directly to Web’s president and COO Mark Pihl. Young is a senior executive who has had P&L responsibility in Global Fortune 500 Companies including Mondi, Avery Dennison, Sony, and Gillette. He has extensive experience in industrial manufacturing, materials, specialty chemicals, medical products, and the consumer packaging industries. Recently he was president of Mondi North America, with responsibility for their Consumer Products, Advanced Materials, and Industrial Bag Business Units and growth initiatives in South America. Young earned an MBA from Babson College and has a BA in Economics from Boston College. He is also a certified Green Belt in Design for Six Sigma. A member of Web’s Board of Directors since 2014, he will retain his board seat as a management representative. “All of Web’s core markets are positioned for exceptional growth,” says Pihl. “Appointing Kevin as vice president of Corporate Development allows us to leverage his Fortune 500 business experience to identify and implement business and operational changes that will improve our competitiveness and expand our reach across all of our markets.
